How to download and activate StarToken?
- Step 1: Keep the Activation Credentials handy to activate StarToken, used for the first time to activate the StarToken app.
- Step 2: Go to the Retail Internet Banking website of Bank of India and log in using your credentials. The StarToken-NG window will be redirected to the client.
- Step 3: To download and install StarToken on the device, tap 'Download Now'.
- Step 4: On the device, the StarToken Installer will be downloaded. To install StarToken on your desktop, double-click on the StarToken installer. To proceed further, click on 'Run'.The StarToken Shortcut will appear on the desktop after successful installation.
- Step 5: To start the program and press Login, double-click on the StarToken icon on the screen.StarToken will protect the device and build a StarToken server connection.
- Step 6: Enter the user ID and press the 'Submit' button.Ensure that the verification key shown in the activation window is the same as that obtained from the Bank of India for the verification key.
- Step 7: Pick the 'Verification key is right' option if the verification keys match.
- Step 8: Type the Code of Activation and tap Send.Tap 'Delete' and contact Bank of India Customer Service if the verification keys do not match.The verification key can also be regenerated by selecting the Create Verification Code option and then clicking on the "Reset option."One will receive an acknowledgment message and then login to the registered mobile number with a new authentication key obtained.
- Step 9: Configure the Security Question and Answer after successful login and click on "Submit" button.
- Step 10: Set the StarToken PIN to 4 digits and click on " Submit."

How to reset StarToken PIN?
You can reset your StarToken PIN by following the steps discussed below:
- Step 1: Enter the user ID and 3 times type the wrong PIN.
- Step 2: StarToken-NG restarts.
- Step 3: Click “Yes” when asked, "Do you want to reset your account?"
- Step 4: Enter the OTP obtained with the mobile number reported.
- Step 5: The Security Response is entered.
- Step 6: Log in again to the registered mobile number with the new Verification Key & Activation Code.
- Step 7: Set up a new security question and answer and a new PIN for StarToken-NG.
How to transfer funds through BOI Net Banking?
Bank of India has been a leader in developing the online banking environment for banks operating in India and, as a result, almost all local banks can use IMPS, RTGS, and NEFT payment methods to move funds between them. However, the IMPS method is often used to transfer funds instantly between the Bank of India and some other banks.
- Step 1: Go to Bank of India's Official Website
- Step 2: Click " Retail " from the left pane under Internet Banking and wait until the Star Link page loads in the middle with a virtual keyboard.
- Step 3: Enter a password and user ID and click on 'Send'. Grab a security key if the Star Link app is installed and check the login. Now the window for online banking should be ready.
- Step 4: Now press 'Move' on the menu tab.
- Step 5: Find 'IMPS Payment' in the pane on the left. Three options should be displayed by clicking on it: add recipient, view/delete recipient and make a payment. If the beneficiary is not added, add the beneficiary to the Bank of India account first.
- Step 6: Click on 'Make a Charge' from the left pane again.
- Step 7: Tap on the beneficiary's name and click on 'Pay' from the 'Beneficiary Nickname' drop-down screen.
- Step 8: Now, by entering the User ID and Transaction Password, confirm your ongoing transaction, then press 'Pay' again. The payment is submitted successfully and the confirmation number is saved.
How to open a BOI Savings Account Online?
- Step 1: Login into the "online savings account opening portal" of the bank
- Step 2: Fill out the opening form for the BOI Savings Account
- Step 3: An email will be sent to the provided email ID of the customer with a unique tracking ID upon successful submission of the request.
- Step 4: Via this Tracking ID, users can check the status of their application form
The new account will be opened in the branch upon successful verification/approval of data.

Ques. What is your StarToken PIN?
StarToken PIN is the unique 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) to be set and remembered by the account holder to log in to StarToken for internet banking. The account holder will set the StarToken PIN when it is first triggered (or after subsequent reset).
Ques. How long will the StarToken OTP be used by an account holder?
The StarToken OTP validity period may be a maximum of 9 days. From 1 day to 9 days, the account holder can set the same as your requirements. The StarToken OTP validity period is, by default, 7 days.
Ques. What's Quick Banking?
The fast-banking function allows the user to transfer NEFT, check balance, check mini- declaration, etc.
Ques. How does an account holder change his or her mobile number to receive an OTP SMS from StarToken?
The user must visit the Bank of India Home Branch and notify the Branch Manager or Relationship Officer there to update the branch's mobile number 91. If the account holder wishes to change his/her mobile number in the future, he/she must always correct the mobile number in bank records without failure.
Ques. What should he/she do? The verification key shown on the screen is not identical to the one account holder got in the SMS.
Write to Support.Startoken@bankofindia.co.in or file a request with the Home Branch to regenerate the StarToken Token. This will allow the holder of the account to obtain a new verification key and activation code package.
Ques. Can the account holder after he/she activates StarToken, access BOI Netbanking from other browsers?
No. No. If the account holder triggers StarToken on the desired personal computer, any browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc. will not be given access to the Bank of India net banking account. The account holder will be allowed to access the net banking account only via StarToken while on the Internet.
Ques. Should the account holder have my RTGS Transaction Specific Transaction Reference (UTR) Number?
Indeed, under the hyperlink RTGS Payment-View Payment Status, the account holder will have the UTR number of the RTGS transactions on the Internet banking site itself.
